A conservatory starts with a specific design which you the customer has in mind ,and I try and make that design reality.

Once we come to an agreement, then the fun really begins.

First of all,we mark out the area of your conservatory so we can dig out footings (these are usually 600mm deep).

Once we have an area to work to,then footings are dug and poured with concrete. This is then left for a couple of days to set.

Once set,we can now install the brickwork upto 'damp'.IE,the damp course level of your property.

When the brickwork has set,we then fill this with hardcore.

When the hardcore is levelled,a layer of sand is laid on this so we can lay down the 'damp course membrane'.Sand is laid,so that no sharp edges penetrate the membrane.

On top of the membrane is poured approximately 100mm of concrete upto 50mm below the damp course.

At this stage, the base needs to be left to set.Depending on what time of year depicts the drying times.Winter,3-4 days,summer,2-3 days.

Once the base has set, then the brickwork can commence. This usually takes 2-3 days-again,depending on the weather.

Once the brickwork has been completed, then the main product can be installed, and your conservatory begins to take shape!
